Ni No Kuni is a solid Japanese Role Playing Game (RPG), but it's not for everybody. This is the first Level 5 game that I've truly enjoyed. I'll admit that I'm very picky when it comes to RPGs. But, Ni No Kuni is good even if it may not be someone's particular cup of tea.

Some of the controls in the game could have been a bit less encumbering in battle, but the experience is mostly tight and fluid. I think I appreciated the Pokemon-esque nature of the game without the tedium found in Pokemon games.

The story has an excellent twist that's certainly worth playing to the end to see.
