73A week before the self-imposed deadline of Sept 1st, Niantic went ahead and gave their in-game response for the #HearUsNiantic movement. They decided to give us back the 80m interaction distance for Pokéstops and Gyms in Pokémon GO! This is a huge step in the right direction. Let's talk about it!

By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018.
