Summary: just getting back into this game after a long haitus to see a lot of new features, and a possible bug. I thought I recalled you could reach through the gate to repair or reload equipment. Apparently, you still can, you just need to have your hammer out. Oddly, sometimes, you can still do it without the hammer. I mean... if you don't need your hammer to reload the equipment while you're on the same level... why would you need your hammer while you're ontop of the grates?
