Nightmare Reaper is now my favorite Boomer Shooter. After Doom 2016 made it okay to bring FPS back to their roots there have been no shortage of amazing retro inspired shooters. Nightmare Reaper takes the gameplay, puts it in a quick Roguelite format, throws in a buncha crazy mini games and some of the best gun play I've seen. These guns are not afraid to be BORKEN! Even with some annoying levels and gimmicks, this game is the new king of boomer shooters. DO NOT MISS IT!

Positives
-Amazing guns, tons of guns!
-Great progression system and tons of character upgrades like grapple hook/dbl jump
-Randomized gear, levels, and enemies in small 10 minute chunks (JUST ONE MORE!)
-Amazing Music from the Dusk OST guy.
-Mini games are optional, but I like them a pretty good bit.
-Arena mode is crack and stupid insane

Negatives
-Some annoying jumping space sections in late game.
-Grapple hook is awful if you're not grappling above your current position
- Some of the mini areas to get bonus weapons are too annoying to do.
