Memory Forest is the last of Helen's standard dream worlds and the last regular chase mission in the game. Well, actually, you can choose to play Helen's stages first, in which case Delight City would be last. But Helen's stages are considerably more difficult. As with all chase missions, the goal here is to chase down the birds to take the keys the riders hold, then go back to the cage to break them open and free NiGHTS from restraint in that world. As a score-based game, there are tons of rings and Blue Chips around for long combos.

Just as Helen started to regain control over her life, Reala comes around and tells Helen the shocking truth--NiGHTS is a Nightmaren, a creation of the evil Wizeman. NiGHTS admits this as true, and Helen slips into depression. She falls into Will's Delight City stage and meets him. Will talks about trusting friends, and Helen gathers the courage to take the plunge to go rescue NiGHTS. The Memory Forest is, as the name implies, a forest of memories. While this doesn't happen et in the chase mission, this is where she looks in on her relationship with her mother and reconciles with her.

The stage itself is pretty strange. The trees have windows, doors, and stairs like buildings, and streetlamps adorn the ground. In the middle is a huge merry-go-round, and the third circuit features glowing buttercups that bloom when they're night. Night and day is the theme of Memory Forest, where things take on different properties. They're activated by pushin on the sundials.

The boss for Memory Forest is Queen Bella, a giant spider dressed in gothic lolita, right down to the elaborate lace patterns and an abdomen that kind of resembles a Fabergé egg. She crawls around the top platform dropping balls of web silk, and it's NiGHTS' job to turn this arena into kind of like a wraparound Breakout, tossing the silk balls back to destroy the blocks above as they bounce around and destroy more blocks. Queen Bella is the only Nightmaren in this game who cannot fly, so once all of the platform blocks above her has been destroyed, she'll sink into the lava.

Now that all of the standard chase missions are up, the next videos I'll upload are the boss rematches--each boss you've seen so far will confront NiGHTS one more time, this time with greatly improved abilities and sometimes playing fields changed to stall NiGHTS longer. I'll go in order of when you see them, starting with Donbalon, who hangs out in Pure Valley.
