Welcome to another episode of VGC 18 Baek to Baek Battles, a VGC Battle Spot Series as I go on the Championship Battle Spot Ladder and play some games. The goal of the series is to try out new Pokemon, new strategies and learn as we battle one battle at a time towards the end of the season and the VGC 2018 World Championship!

For this week, I will be using a Mega Evolution that a lot of people have requested me to use and that is the evergreen Mega Sceptile. With Lightning Rod boosting it's Special Attack when hit by an electric type move, Mega Sceptile can go for some immediate pressure against the opponent while outspeeding most threats. Last episode with the Mega Sceptile team with the Sceptile Thundurus duo gets to be brought in every game and do some work.
