Nimbatus Space Drone Constructor Game Alpha on Kickstarter
12Stray Fawn Studio was kind enough to send me an early release Steam key so that I could test out their new game Nimbatus.
Nimbatus - The Space Drone Constructor is a procedurally generated action simulation game. Build space drones out of hundreds of different parts and explore a fully destructible galaxy. On your journey you will face deadly challenges on exotic planets and research groundbreaking new technology.
The game goes up on Kickstarter as of today November 2nd and you can get your hands on this Alpha. All you must do is go to the link below to be taken to the Kickstarter page and follow the instructions.

0:48 As soon as you jump in there are several different categories of parts that you can use to build your first drone. I have not reached the limit on number of parts that you can use to build a drone. The game allows you to make small nimble drones or big giant death machines. It is all up to you.
1:30 After you build a drone you can take it for a test flight and get a feel for how it flies around and learn the buttons. Some ships are easier to fly than others
2:55 Once you are happy with your drone build, the build is saved and you can take it out for a mission. My first mission was to take down 5 enemy colonies and a transmitter.
5:00 after a couple failures I made a drone with a TON of lasers and have so much fun taking down my enemies. This drone was nuts as it shot out weapons in all directions. Not a whole lot of skill required for this one.
6:13 We move on to the battle arena to test that out. at the very end you see there are some MONSTROUS ships that I am sure you will find in the wild much later in the game.
I had an absolute blast playing for about two hours and learning a bit about the game. Let me know if you would like to see more gameplay or some live streams on Youtube and we can build some drones together.
