NIMBY Rails | Northern Powerhouse | Episode 33 | Crewe Lines
41Hello and welcome back to NIMBY Rails!
Today we're back in South Manchester but this time on the Crewe lines. We'll be building the direct line to Crewe from Manchester, via Stockport. We'll also be building the curve round from Wilmslow to Manchester Airport, as the Crewe line also sees an hourly service to Liverpool via Manchester Airport.
We'll just be adding Northern stopping services today, however the addition of these lines opens up the options of traffic to South Wales, as well as the Pendolino services down towards London.
