Hello and welcome to another episode of NIMBY Rails!

In todays episode we'll be looking at a big investment on a route that will hopefully earn us some nice cash! But before we do that we need to borrow some from the bank and that's where we're going to "fiddle the books".

We'll be taking out a new loan at a lower % APR over a longer period of time so that we're paying back less of the loan per month, hence leaving us more profits for the short term, and then leaving us more cash to build exciting things (ooooooh).

We're then going to be building a regional line, between Manchester and Preston via Bolton in the hope it'll really start earning us some nice cash. We'll be extending the line from Manchester Airport up to Preston on a semi express service. It also means the airport services will be every 15 minutes rather than every 20 so Manchester Airport gets a more frequent service.
