Nimrod Computer Game Simulation (1951)
I see no one on youtube uploaded this. This Nimrod computer was created by the Ferranti and unveiled the the Festival of Britain during the Exhibition of Science back in May 1951. It was designed to play a game called NIM, a mathematical game strategy where players take turns removing objects from distinct heaps. On each turn, a player must remove at least one object, and may remove any number of objects provided they all come from the same heap. NIM may have originated in ancient times of China. According the the Nimrod simulation website, it states it was the first digital computer and digital computer game.

Note: The Author of the simulation program refuses to write this for Windows. It's only available for BeOS and Haiku Operating Systems. However, there's no need to reformat your whole computer to install BeOS or Haiku. Just use a virtualization software such as VirtualBox or VMware player so you can run them within your windows OS. Alternatively, you can install the BeOS or Haiku OS your USB Flash Drive as well but takes a little more work. Unlike BeOS, Haiku is a free open source version of BeOS. It's availabe for download. Be sure to download only the VM files for VMware Player:
