Ninja Blade is a 2009 Xbox 360 game by FromSoftware, best known today for the Souls series. It's a spiritual successor to the Otogi series, and a distinct attempt to appeal to a worldwide audience with heavily cinematic action. It never quite forgets that Japanese games are the best at being over-the-top and ridiculous though!
