VIDEO DESCRIPTION
Ninja Gaiden 2 played on Master Ninja difficulty, with live commentary! This is not a guide; this is a challenge run in which I attempt to defeat the game using only the Dragon Sword. Doing this will earn me the "Dragon Sword Master" achievement. This achievement can be obtained by clearing the game without using any other weapon besides the Dragon Sword and the True Dragon Sword, into which the former changes starting in Chapter 11. If you slay an enemy with a weapon other than those two weapons, and save your progress, you invalidate the achievement. It should also be noted that you can obtain this achievement on any difficulty, but since I enjoy playing on Master Ninja mode, that is the difficulty that this run will be played on.
With this being a "live" run, the focus inevitably turns on "heat of the moment" reactions; with my mind divided on those reactions and on the game itself, I will not be able to "distance" myself far enough away from the game to offer the type of critical analysis and guidance I usually am able to offer in my guides. That is the sacrifice, but since I have done three post-commentary guides for this game in the past, I am very excited to bring something new to my portfolio of Ninja Gaiden 2 content.
