true story - when i was in high school and got ninja gaiden, i was telling my friend all about this awesome game and how fun it is. when he finally came over to check it out, i had just finished chapter 10 and booted it up and this chapter was next. my friend watched me swim around some murky moat and shoot some dinky harpoon gun for a little while and then said, "i gotta say, dude. i don't really see what the big deal is" and we did something else. this chapter sucks

i still think that the game is generally better before this chapter and generally worse after it but that could just be because the chapters after this are where it starts getting a little too hard for me ;(

made the mistake of going in the tunnel without the oxygen tank at 8:45 and drank two big potions to keep from drowning. dumb chapter

the first GAME OVER of this playthrough..... ;__;
