Transcript:

Hey guys, David here from nintendo 3ds blog dot com and I've talked in the past about Nintendo not providing the best online gaming experience. It's not exactly a secret.

But just in case my preview of the online system didn't convince you otherwise, Nintendo do appear to be making the necessary changes when it comes to the 3DS.

Team Ninja has said that the main reason they're bringing Dead or Alive to the 3DS is because it was the perfect platform for a smooth online gaming experience.

They explain how network play puts very little stress on the hardware, and they didn't have to make any sacrifices with the game they wanted to build. Which is pretty cool.

And many months ago in a video I made I mentioned the possibility of Okamiden coming to the 3DS. There had been a couple of rumors but they seemed to have fizzled out. But now they're back.

In Capcom's online press page there's a listing for Okamiden that places it in both the DS and 3DS category.

This could be a simple mistake, and I won't get into all the details, but you can check out the specifics in the description below.

Basically though, I'd say it's likely that Okamiden is coming to the 3DS at some point. Probably in the near(ish) future.

But with that good news comes the bad, although sort of expected news that EA is being very lazy.

They're bringing Madden NFL to the 3DS as a launch title in the US, and we've known about that for a while. But it's going to lack any multiplayer features.

This means no local multiplayer and no online multiplayer, which makes it a sports game that's a totally solo experience.

I'm not interested in Madden anyways because I'm Aussie, but what's so fun about sports games is being able to play them with friends, so it's a pity EA didn't put more effort into the game.

That's it for now though. Leave a comment below, click the "Like" button and I'll talk to you later.
