Looks like Nintendo is discontinuing the Wii U this Friday. I think we've all been expecting this for a few months now since no real games are on the horizon for the system. After the Switch was announced it was pretty obvious Nintendo had shifted focus away from the Wii U.

Might be worth getting a Wii U if you wanted to have it as a collectors item since it will be hard to get in store in a few months.
