Here is another game on the NES that released in 1985 in North America, this is Clu Clu Land. I have not played this game before, and I find controlling Bubbles very confusing, and to those that don't know, Bubbles is a girl, I didn't even know that until just now, because this whole time I thought Bubbles was a boy.
Anyway, in this game, you play as Bubbles and move around a maze filled with urchins called Unira, and collect the gold ingots in each stage that make a shape. Bubbles can also fire sound waves to stun the Unira, which she can then push them away.
Clu Clu Land has been referenced many times in the Super Smash Bros. series, a trophy of Bubbles appeared in Melee, and the Unira appears as an item starting from Brawl, as well as music from Clu Clu Land, and I have read that Bubbles makes an appearance in the GBA game DK: King of Swing, in which she is the only non-Donkey Kong character to appear in the game.
