Who would've thought that Sakurai, the guy who LIKES having items in tournaments, would advocate for the banning of Hero. Honestly, you hear about how Sakurai hates competitive smash and only wants to destroy it all the time, but I think with this announcement, he is finally turning a new leaf. I, for one, am very excited to see what happens and, while I do not personally support the Hero ban, I am excited to see that Sakurai cares about tournaments for his game at the very least. Now maybe you want to convince Nintendo to give players better prize winnings for tournaments Sakurai? No? Okay. Well, you gotta take whatever you can get.
