I have managed to cross off the first game from my Summer Backlog Challenge 2023 list, which is The Spirit & The Mouse from tiny two-person developer Ablune from Montreal. It was recently given a physical release by Super Rare Games and is also available digitally on the Nintendo eShop and Steam courtesy of Armor Games. At first glance it appears to be a "Stray-like" but it manages to bring its own ideas and atmosphere.
