I play the Japanese version of Zelda 2. I've always wanted to play this version since it has a ton of differences from the US version. Some examples below:

● Parapa, Swamp, and Sea Palace is Gray
● Island, Maze Island, and Hidden Palace is Turquoise
● All Palace entrances and boss rooms (with the exception of the Great Palace) is Gray
● Horsehead is a mini boss in the Sea Palace
● Helmethead is the boss of the Sea Palace as well as the Swamp Palace
● Battle theme is different
● Sound effects when talking to people, learning/using spells, hitting walls, etc. is different
● Ferryman, Down/Up Stab Knights have a different sprite from the US version.
● Water is animated in the overworld
● Tektites and Zoras can be killed without the Fire Spell
● With the exception of the Triforce, Link doesn't pick up items, he stabs them to collect them
