The Nintendo Switch Online launched TODAY at 8:50 PM EST, and with that, we are no longer able to play our games online without purchasing the monthly service. I find this crazy cause as it is now, all three major companies require you to pay a service fee to enjoy games online. PlayStation & Nintendo have now joined the train that Microsoft started.

The only with this is that the service is complete GARBAGE LOL. The only reason I'm not more mad is because the price is so bearable. But even that - most gamers have 2 systems...a PS4/Xbox and a Switch (sometimes all 3), so even though it's $20 a year, add that to the $60/$50 monthly fee for PlayStation/Xbox. That's $80 a year we're paying to enjoy our games online.
