I set the clock on my NES game to 6:21 like the contest to see how far I could get in Super Mario 1. I only got to 8-3. I did OK all the way until this level, then I just died everywhere. I think I am really bad at Super Mario 1. Had I been able to beat this level, I would have beaten the game. This is on a real NES, no stupid emulators, savestates or Game Genie or any cheats. It is possible to beat this game in the time limit.

I was going to do a NWC1990 score run, but kept messing up and reset the game. The game should have reset all that way, but it went to Super Mario 1 and took me to a glitched world. I got 50 coins again, but instead of going to RAD RACER, it took me to an even more screwed up Super Mario 1 game. I would imagine this glitch will not work on an emulator. I played it on the NES, so, maybe find the real game and verify this if you want to.
