A ranged weapon build was missing from our Nioh 2 collection so in this video I'll be introducing the "Gunslinger".

IMPORTANT:
Something I forgot was the Samurai Skill points which you have to put all on the ranged DMG and cannon DMG on the upper left corner of the skill tree, and of course choose the Concealment Ninjutsu mystic art.

About the Build
I used 3 sets in creating this build:
*Grace of Kagutsuchi for the bonus against scorched enemies(this will match the Yatagarasu Guardian's stat which imbues fire on ranged attacks and melee DMG vs scorched enemies bonus)
*Straight and True for the extra Bullseye bonus
*Saika's Yatagarasu set for the 20% Untouched Ammo (Which is EXTREMELY necessary if you are choosing the Kuroda Clan for the extra hand cannon damage then you gotta have ammo to endure a long fight) and of course, this set will give you other useful bonuses as well such as reduced defence, auto-target weak-point, life drain and ...
For the Guardian spirit, I use mostly Yatagarasu for longer fights and casual gameplay, but in some duels, I switch to the Atlas Bear for the extra firepower.
You must transfer attack and Untouched ammo to all of your equipment, this will help you to reach 80% untouched ammo using Yatagarasu spirit and 70% untouched ammo using the Atlas Bear guardian spirit.
On the Main weapon choose one with an attack bonus(skill or stamina) which is way better than the DMG bonus(equipment lightness) stats. The star roll grapple damage is also important since in some instances you might find yourself out of ammo then you are going to use Gozuki and some sword slashes(which also has bonus ki DMG) to put the enemy on the winded state and use grapple on them.
I won't recommend using any sets other than the Yatagarasu since losing the untouched ammo of this set, you have to choose Otomo clan for the extra hand cannon ammo and again losing the DMG bonus(enhanced) and 15% cannon damage of the Kuroda clan. Since you already have attack bonus(Skill) AA on your weapon scaling it to higher lvl by choosing sets for more attack bonus(Skill) would be a waste.
