Nioh 2 - Otakemaru Boss + Ending and Credits
0Yay! Awesome game. My favorite parts are the combat (obviously lol) and the way they blend Japanese history and folklore with their unique Nioh story.
My least favorite parts are Lady Osakabe (even using Purity and Burst Counters, that boss is just annoying) and overuse of music from the first game (new versions of old songs like they did with William's theme are great, but a lot of times they straight copy-pasted it, like for the Ryomen Sukuna fight. At least every main story boss should have their own unique theme imo.)
Some people call this Nioh 1.5, but I think it has more than enough new stuff to be a 2: Burst Counters, Yokai Shift and Soul Core abilities, new enemies/bosses, new attacks for returning enemies, new areas, new weapons/armor/skills/spirits, a whole new story, character creation, better graphics and more. The DLC awaits! Spoiler thoughts:
Suzuka Gozen? They even used Toyotomi Hideyoshi's actual death poem! And Hide actually cried! I think having Hide be pretty much an emotionless doll for half the game was on purpose. An ok choice imo, but they should have had the other characters comment on it more to make it obvious it was a story thing and not just a "We can't animate facial expressions for your customized character" thing.
