No Man's Sky: Skies Are Limited - A colourful problem
I hate making critical videos, and it's a big deal for me to do so about my favourite game of all time, a game I have defended like a lion and want only to succeed. With love then, I need to mention a big issue that has quietly snuck in. While a few have been talking about it on reddit, it seems to have gone largely unnoticed, or at least, drowned out by relatively new players who haven't had a chance to notice it, and of course players who aren't bothered by it. For those of us that do care though, it's a very big issue, and it is this: colour variety has been very drastically limited since NEXT.
In this video I explain the problem, try to show how important colour is, especially by extensively contrasting what the game used to look like compared to now. I also show what amazing things can be done with colour, in case you are still not convinced, and then offer some suggestions. Final thoughts at the end.
