In this YouTube #Short Episode, we show you how you can add a D-Pad, Thumbstick covers & Super Famicom buttons to your Nintendo Switch Joy Cons without needing to mod your controller!

One of the biggest misses about the Nintendo Joy Cons is the lack of a proper D-Pad on the Left controller. This was such a miss that Nintendo themselves even changed the left unit's design on the Switch Lite, outfitting it with a proper D-Pad. The folks at Skull & Co have a fairly ingenious and simple solution to add a D-Pad to your Switch, along with adding a splash of color to the right Joy Con Buttons.

The D-Pad Button Cap Set includes a standard D-Pad, a Circular D Pad, and 2 sets of colored buttons. You can get everything in a Super Famicom color scheme, or they do offer one that is inspired by Animal crossing. Inside the package, you'll also get a sheet of adhesive stickers to adhere the buttons to the top of your existing ones. There's also a little foam rubber strip that you pull off and attach to the D-Pad to create a pivot point. The installation is super easy and only takes a few minutes.

Skull & Co also offers a Thumb Grip Set to give you a more positive feeling on the Joy Con analog stick. There's even a set for the Switch Pro Controller! 3 pairs of thumb grips with three different designs to meet gamers' needs are included and they protect the original joystick from wear and tear. The material is more grippy, increasing friction and provides more sensitivity to enhance your gaming experience. The one thing these don't do, unfortunately, is eliminate Joy Con Drift, Womp Womp.
