No More Heroes Fun Fact: Ryuji was the 7th ranked assassin and considered by Travis to be a "Brother" in battle due to his katana being similar to Travis', his impractical motorcycle and his knowledge of martial arts, all of which resemble Travis. Similar to Dark Star from the original game, he had the power to summon an energy dragon. It is interesting to note that in many eastern mythologies, tigers and dragons are considered natural enemies and are often depicted battling each other in artworks. Hence the battle between Travis (tiger motif) and Ryuji (dragon motif) being a very symbolic one. This also explains Travis's desire for honor.

Three years have passed since Travis Touchdown became the top assassin in the United Assassins Association and walked away. Now, he returns to Santa Destroy and fights Skelter Helter, who seeks revenge on Travis for killing his older brother Helter Skelter prior to the first game. After winning the battle, he meets Sylvia Christel again, who informs him he is now ranked 51st. The dying Skelter interrupts them and warns Travis that he and his co-conspirators will still have their revenge. After a group of criminals kill Travis's best friend, Bishop, he resolves to climb to the ranks to get a chance at vengeance!
