1.) If you look at the PNG files EXIF metadata, it shows April 5th, 1987 1:56AM as "Date Taken"

2.) Invinci Cool points out that it looks like 11/13/19 when you do not change contrast/brightness. I must be blind
3.) 03/20/86 - Inscription on tape.
4.) 12/12/1987 - supposedly some people had a log file appear that had this date.

The devs posted a "complete save file" with .sav extension:

I noticed this was a PNG file based on the metadata. In this video I open it up in the GIMP and find a hidden date in the bottom left.
