We bring the Silph Scope over to the Lavendar Town Pokemon Tower, breeze our way through the rival fight against Blue, put down the Marowak's ghost, and get the Pokeflute from Mr. Fuji after defeating another one of Team Rocket's operations.

Adding a challenge to Pokemon Red with something besides Nuzlocke rules. It's a no Pokecenter challenge instead! Game is Pokemon Red Version, which is 99% the same as Blue Version.

[Challenge Rules List]

1. Only using items to heal. No pokemon centers, NPC beds, rest zones, healing at home by talking to mom, etc...
2. No using items during battle. Items may only be used outside of battle.
3. No legendary pokemon. Just because.
4. No using the daycare center.

The Pokemon games are designed for kids, and as such the difficulty of their gameplay is very easy. Although version red and blue came out a long time ago when games were more difficult, they're still really, really easy. So I thought I'd make things more interesting by doing a challenge run, but everybody and their mother has done Nuzlocke challenges before and I personally don't care to join them, so this is what I came up with.

The other dude who did the same kind of thing was a youtuber by the name of Coakey. His overall strategy was very different from mine. I end up playing moneyball with struggle and fight most of the trainers whereas he skips most battles preserves PP. A guy named Scykoh also has a similar series for leaf green but his rules are way more forgiving, allowing the use of rest zones and PCs to heal.

My main inspiration for this run was a guy called Pikasprey who beat pokemon red/blue using only a ditto.
