In this video we will be checking out a cool game called Nodebuster. This game is a blend of rougelite, idler, strategy, incremental, shooting, and arcade genres that is both satisfying and enjoyable to play. There is a fair amount of strategy in picking what upgrades to prioritize and no two runs have to be the same (everything is viable). If you are looking for an inexpensive game that has a lot to offer then Nodebuster is definitely worth a look.
In this series the plan is to provide live gameplay with a focus on explaining what upgrades to prioritize and why, to maximize efficiency in completion and build effectiveness. We progress through prestige 2 and unlock prestige 3 by utilizing what I like to call the cyclone tank build. We discuss how scaling sustain via health, regeneration, and armor provide a strong build for getting to the boss. To then take down the boss scaling more armor, boss damage, attack size, and spawn rate carried us through the boss fight and unlocking prestige 3. We also hop back to prestige 1 after completing prestige 2 to see how long we can last and how many bits we can gather. Drop a comment with the difference between how long we lasted in prestige 1 at the end of last episode and how long we lasted in prestige 1 at the end of this episode and let's see who is the closest.
