We have reviewed the Nokia 4.2 mobile and here's our Bottom Line: The Nokia 4.2 excels on the build and design front beyond a shadow of a doubt. Though there’s no metal around the sides, the glass on the front and back gives it ample class. It comes in a curved form factor that’s as neat and pure as the software that powers it. Stock Android fans will love the Android One experience it brings with it. The phone runs the latest version of Android OS and is free of any bloatware. Top marks, then, for the way it looks and feels.
Where the Nokia 4.2 mobile needs improvement is outright performance. The Snapdragon 439 chipset, with its 3GB of RAM, is quick enough for most tasks but needs more graphical might to push pixels to that 5.71-inch screen. The camera department is where the Nokia 4.2 really disappoints. Most shots taken through its dual-camera setup display considerable noise and distortion. The UI too, is slow to react when you most need speed.
Notwithstanding its imperfections, the Nokia 4.2 carves out a space for itself in the budget smartphone market. Considering its price, this curved, glossy sub-six-incher offers good value for money. If you want a budget smartphone from a known name with near-stock Android and the promise of timely updates, the Nokia 4.2 is definitely a good bet.

The Nokia 4.2 comes in two colours, Black and a stand-out Pink Sand at a price of INR 10,990 for the 3/32GB storage variant.
Nokia 4.2 will be available exclusively on Nokia.com/phones for a 7-day period starting 7th May and exclusively across select retail outlets and partners like Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C and MyG starting 14th May.
Nokia 4.2 will be available pan-India across top mobile retail outlets and Nokia.com/phones starting 21st May.
