{Note: BHI is a fictional illness located in the lore of "2034", and as such the presented track is also fictional.}

Black Hole Iris (BHI) is a rare and fatal affliction that affects the eyes of some individuals who have been exposed to higher dimensional entities. The exact mechanism of how BHI is contracted is unknown, but it is speculated that the visual perception of a higher dimensional entity somehow alters the quantum state of the host's pupils, turning them into two dimensional singularities that emit intense gravitational fields. These singularities act as black holes, consuming any matter or energy that comes into contact with them, including the host's own body. Without treatment, the host will eventually be devoured by their own eyes, leaving behind nothing but a pair of black holes that will quickly evaporate due to Hawking radiation.

[Stages of Black Hole Iris(BHI)]

Stage 1:
The individual encounters and visually perceives a Higher Dimensional Entity (HDE). This exposure triggers a quantum alteration in the eyes, sparking the onset of Black Hole Iris (BHI). Within days, the host experiences significant vision disruptions such as blurred vision, extreme sensitivity to light, and issues with depth perception. Physical sensations of pressure, burning, or sharp pain in the eyes are common as the pupils undergo transformation. A mild but constant compulsion to consume begins to surface, linked to the developing singularities within the pupils. Hosts often try to satisfy this hunger with excessive food intake, sometimes making themselves sick in the attempt to satiate the unsettling urge.

Stage 2:
The pupils collapse fully into singularities, becoming two-dimensional black holes. The host’s vision is completely lost, replaced by heightened reliance on other senses such as smell and hearing. A forward-facing, 12-inch cone of gravitational influence forms, pulling in small particles, air, and nearby biological matter. At this stage, the host’s black holes begin consuming objects within this narrow range. Hosts experience escalating psychological distress and isolation, battling intense hunger pangs and increasingly intrusive urges to consume. Stigmatization from others amplifies feelings of loneliness and alienation, compounding their distress.

Stage 3:
If the host restricts consumption to air alone, the black holes eventually turn inward, consuming the host’s own facial tissue and skin. This unintentional self-consumption progresses gradually, exacerbating the host’s physical and psychological suffering. As the gravitational pull consumes air directly in front of the host’s face, episodes of asphyxiation occur, making breathing difficult and frequently leading to oxygen deprivation. Hosts who consume organic matter, especially plant-based or animal material, report temporary relief from the insatiable hunger. This selective consumption offers a brief respite, although the hunger quickly resurfaces.

Stage 4:
At this point, the host loses any remaining control over the black holes. The compulsion to consume becomes all-encompassing, with the host mindlessly drawing in and consuming any matter within reach. Psychological coherence deteriorates to the point that feeding is the host’s only goal, often disregarding the presence or harm of others. This phase is generally brief, lasting mere hours before final progression.

Stage 5:
In an instant, the black holes consume the host’s entire body, leaving only the singularities behind. Without sustaining material, the black holes quickly evaporate via Hawking radiation. Once the singularities dissipate, no physical trace of the host remains, with only faint, residual radiation momentarily marking their existence.
