Bienvenue dans Hémisphères, le carrefour des explorateur·ice·s de l'Imaginaire !
Rattrapée par la mort de sa mère Catherine, Kay doit regagner un foyer qu'elle a passé sa vie à fuir : une Louisiane rongée par l'érosion des sols, abandonnée aux mirages du capitalisme thermo-industriel et convoitée par les prophètes d'un sacré 2.0. Tandis qu'elle récupère ses effets personnels et retrouve l'androïde domestique Million, elle découvre les restes d'une grande enquête laissée en plan par sa mère... L'occasion de rattraper le temps perdu, et de lever les douloureux secrets de la ville de NORCO ?

À l'origine de NORCO, il y a Yuts et son studio ad hoc Geography of Robots, dont le nom pourrait à lui seul témoigner de sa proposition créative : synthétiser des décennies de vécus et d'études académiques dans un récit panoramique, opérer la rencontre des registres cyberpunk et southern gothic, rendre compte de l'irréductibilité du réel avec les outils du jeu vidéo. En résulte une aventure textuelle amère et hallucinée, sillonnant les eaux troubles du bayou entre deux moments suspendus.

Si l'avenir est un long passé, la science-fiction doit-elle s'écrire au présent ? Cap sur NORCO !
