This challenge isnt so hard, just long. My strategy was playing the tape while I wait him enter the room, once his inside he will i reverse the tape and avoid him. If Shadow Rat wants to enter the room he will so dont try to stop him it will only make him to wait less time to scare out of the room. I highly recommend to play this game with volume higher than 50, cause its hard to hear him when you have to lure him out of the bed.
