I loved the 1996 season. Not just because Damon won it, but because it had some of the best looking cars ever to compete in F1. Not that it's an aesthetics parade or anything.

Join me as I take the Benetton, Sauber, Footwork and Minardi to Interlagos to see how they handle on default setups.

They do require some setup work otherwise they are a handful, even in the top tier (Williams, Benetton, Ferrari) but overall a good indication as to what F1 cars were like back then.

Tier One: Williams, Ferrari, Benetton
Tier Two: McLaren, Jordan, Sauber
Tier Three: Ligier, Tyrrell, Footwork
Tier Four: Minardi, Forti.
