As a baby of the 80s and a child of the 90s, I can remember the brilliance of 90s gaming, especially when it came to the Final Fantasy series. The stories were always top tier, the fandom unmatched, but when Final Fantasy VIII came out, well, that bitch changed the GAME! LITERALLY!
Goodbye 2d block characters and choppy play style. Final Fantasy VIII was the perfect mix between memorable music, updated graphics, and phenomenal story. This game had me straight crying at the end when I thought Squall had died... (oops spoiler)
Anyway, sit back, relax, and relive the epic journey from the Balamb Garden to the Isles of Heaven and Hell.
