As fans of classic Need for Speed probably know, the track themes in Need for Speed II and III: Hot Pursuit change if you use either the default techno or rock tracks, with a specific set of loops to each section of the track and each have three to four intensities based on how you're doing in the race (laps, speed, place, etc.)
I did a silly video of what it would be like in Need for Speed: Rivals (which I think is underrated, in my opinion and is in dire need of a Remaster if just for full 60 FPS support)

If you want context to what I'm using for the music:
Since I don't apply sets based on location, I simply cycle through them, usually after one of the loops plays completely or a crash theme is used.
The low intensity loop is used if you're idle or below 100 km/h
The medium intensity loop starts playing once you're above 100 km/h
The high intensity loops play if you're high speed in first place, you're under the Gold time in a time trial/rapid response, or escaping the police. As police, it plays when you're close to suspects.
The chase themes are too short for when the police is chasing you (in NFS III, pursuits are short lived so the intense chase themes don't get repetitive), so I think they fit better as critical damage themes or when a tire is deflated.
Finally, I use the crash stings when you, well, crash and get hit by pursuit tech.

Excuse the quality, I didn't check my OBS settings before recording but if you're running with the 60 FPS trick then it's best to avoid potentially causing framerate loss as that can impact the game for a while.
