I was playing vanilla Half-Life from Steam; not Source, and without any mods or file changes. I had just downloaded the game and verified my files.

A very minor bug: if you go into a loading screen while your screen is zoomed-in with the crossbow, you keep the zoomed-in crosshair without being actually zoomed in.
