EDIT - I re-looked, the threshold for channel monetization is 1000 subscribers or 4000 hours of watch time, I was incorrect in my statement in this video.

I think Youtube has a problem, and that problem is the algorithm based "Not Suitable For Most Advertisers" issue. It is so hard for the small to medium sized content creator to make anything monetizable on Youtube anymore, and it is really frustrating!
