Nothing to Declare DEMO on Quest 2 (VR game)
Your job is simple: check passports, frisk people, find contraband, make sure documents are in order and most important, follow the orders of your superior.
I like the idea and it looked/played well but I fear it might get too repetitive very quickly.
The devs asked for feedback but the ntd.decasis.com address given can't be reached.
So in case they watch this video, here are my comments..
At thee start, after telling you to close your eyes, maybe say when to open them again?
More direction is required in the first room. You just explore until you step on the right place to open the door (which needs fixing).
The 'Daily Quota' on the tablet really means the number you got right not the number you have checked.
When I got the first one wrong and the voice said you didn't check the name, I didn't know what to do next. Did I have to fix something? Maybe the voice should teell you to be more careful with the next person.
Does the chime mean it is the end of the day? I didn't see a clock counting down someewhere to provide any sense of the time left.
You should be able to deny entry straight away when the passport name/city etc. doesn't match rather than have to scan their luggage, print their ticket and stamp the passport. This is a race against the clock!
Searching the bags needs more explanation. How to do it would be a start and then what do you do if you find something?
I disagreed with one decision that 'Enrique' didn't look like their photo.
It would easier if you could go between the first desk and last one in one jump rather than have to go to one in between.
The 'Next Person' button needs to appear much quicker if it is against the clock.
There is some background story that looks like you are being duped by a corrupt regime into stopping people that are trying to help the people but I guess that will be explained in the full version.
