Nova Drift is asteroids on steroids. You pilot a tiny ship on an endless run trying to survive whilst fighting enemies with increasing difficulty.
As you progress throughout the game, you unlock abilities and upgrades to your ship. My personal favorite are the drones. The drones attack enemies for you and many of the upgrades increase their effectiveness at clearing enemies.
The available abilities unlocked and upgrade paths are randomly determined each time you level up. You can pick only one each time so some coherent strategy is required to make sure you can survive for long as possible.
Overall Nova Drift brings some nice twists to the classic asteroids formula, making it enjoyable to pick up and play at anytime.
