In my opinion the slower Novice difficulty suits this game the best - due to the terrain being this bumpy. It is almost impossible to be fully in control of the truck due to how uneven the ground is and just how unpredictable the truck can be reacting to the surface on some of the tracks. With the slower difficulty, you have a fair chance of correcting and keeping control when an unwanted bounce surprises. However as the speed ramps up with Pro and Extreme modes; I found reacting was next to impossible sometimes, resulting in some very horrible situations - facing backwards or on the roof, lol. I will get a few records in the faster modes anyway to show the difference between them.
The NTSC version of the game feels like it plays too fast; an original 50hz PAL release speeded up (without gameplay correction) to 60hz for NTSC markets later on I think.
