About Brutes in Scorn:

“Brutes are a type of enemy encountered later in Scorn.

Appearance
Brutes are four-legged creatures with a bulky hunched appearance.

Behavior
If they see the player, they will quickly charge at him. However, if there is enough distance between the player or if the player manages to outrun the charging brute, the creature will ignore the player.”
