Captain Shields is brought to his new charge, the Sunrider. One of the most advanced ships in the galaxy it is the one hope of defending the planet Cera from the militant PACT. However, on her test flight, the enemy fleet attacks and in one swift stroke, destroys most of the fleet and nukes the capital planet without provocation. Our story begins while Captain Shields and the beautiful Commander Ava are forced to abandon their home.
