RWBY, Best Show of the Season?!
3It might not be traditional Anime, but the animated show by Rooster Teeth has become quite a contender in regards to story telling and character development. Show Rooster Teeth some love for the great productions that they make.

RWBY just became one of the most relevant shows of all media, including Internet, television, and Hollywood
1. Started with little but shows true integrity by getting better every season
2. Seasons one and two felt innocent and cutsie, but this is so perfect that it can’t be a coincidence.
3. Show is unwavering in its rules and consequences (Unlike Dragon Ball, Sword Art Online, and many others where the hero’s often break established rules because the plot deemed it was necessary “plot armor”)
4. Dived into deep lore that while confusing, gave significance to enemies (Real and global danger, sister powers, grim manipulation, and willingness to target civilians)
5. Real and devastating fall of beloved heroes.
6. All this was crafted through three seasons in order the buildup characters in cute harry potter like happiness, and then to literally destroy the characters and audiences innocence. RWBY will never be the same, and the power of a story that kills the characters its audience loves shows them that the lives of their characters matter. It gives real weight and measure to what happens, knowing that no one is truly safe from danger.
Conclusion: RWBY started off as a fun animation for Rooster Teeth and anime fans to enjoy like one might enjoy a good song or a glass of orange juice. But now we can see how the stage was set, and the deep and complex paths the story is set to walk. What the outcome will be is still unclear, but RWBY has become one of the most relevant productions of the year and has become one of my most treasured series. We wait with bated breath to see what is to come.
