Cotton makes me think of that time a very long time ago when I had a bit of an interest in PC-98 games, art and music. I know that Cotton wasn't a PC-98 game, although it may have a port, but it fits in that part of my life. I don't think anime art is up my alley, but I still think that a little girl riding a broom, facing off against nightmarish ghouls and ghosts, unwavering, is funny and cute. There are spooky characters in the Cotton games that look really cool. Halloween styled monsters like pumpkins and skeletons look really great when next to the single cartoony and lighthearted little witch. There is a huge and amazing contrast between the really detailed monsters and backgrounds and the bright little witch.
