Nvidia Q1 2020 Results DOWN $1bn... But Not Due to Turing? | Zen 2 & Navi at Hot Chips 2019
Nvidia have released their financial results for Q1 2020, and they are DOWN $1bn, and the gaming segment of their hardware has suffered as well. But according to Jensen Huang, this is NOT due to disappointing RTX Turing sales.
He also throws a little shade at AMD, stating that they have no need to rush from 12nm top 7nm, because they still win in performance and energy efficiency on the current architecture.
The Hot Chips 2019 program has gone up, and AMD will be showcasing the Zen 2 and Navi 7nm architectures, which is fairly standard for them. What does this mean for the rumoured July 2019 release date?
