Part 1 - Obtaining the shield

--------

Before we begin, allow me to speak of a minor story -

The week before Christmas a relative asked me what it is I wanted for said holiday, I spoke that I only wanted a friend to visit though due to certain conditions it wasn't exactly possible. They insisted that they still get me something until someone mentioned the nvidia shield.

It wasn't exactly my forte at first but I honestly did like how it was, however it did come at a large price at first ($300 before the holidays kicked in with a $50 off discount). Even so I still didn't want them spending so much on me despite how nice it was, so I went looking everywhere for the best discount and price cut on it that I could find and I did find one person selling it brand new for about $175, along with a $15 off of anything due to ebay bucks, we were basically gold. Days pass after a day meant for spending quality time with one another and no sign of the shield.

Though it turns out...well the person selling didn't even seem like they existed anymore...which despite not getting it in time and other people being impatient, I was more worried than anything because it might have meant something happened to the seller. So I simply got a refund and bought the shield elsewhere.

Part 2 - Recording on the shield

--------

After finally getting the shield almost 2 1/2 weeks after Christmas, I gave it a test run and had a rather nice time with the perks of a power mobile device running android 4.3 (jelly bean, someone at google is hungry). Anyway after linking my old account and redownloading some apps and games I bought on my other device, I wanted to do a test recording.....only to be greeted with "This content is copy protected, can't take snapshots or videos". HDCP is wonderful ain't it? I originally asked someone here on youtube how they were recording their shield but all they said was "oh I just used an hdmi cable" despite the damn thing having HDCP they said nothing else...

Anyway another week and a half later of trying various splitters, I finally got one on new egg and because of it, you're now viewing this video.

---------

So to summarize, aka TL;DR, it took over a month to make this video.

Next video involving the shield will be of myself and a good friend some of you have heard of already playing a rather small game about a girl who wants peace and quiet. Anyway enjoy the time stamps.

--------

0:16 - Sonic Dash (again), I also break the game's camera somehow.

4:01 - Ittle Dew, not much shown here since I just wanted to show how nice the game looks. Fun Fact : This was originally pitched to Nintendo to be a zelda game - http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/08/ludositys_ittle_dew_was_pitched_to_nintendo_as_a_zelda_game

8:57 - Jet Set Radio, intro and tutorial (about 90% of it)

13:10 - Sonic 2 (2013), Finally...I can record this again, the previous video was done via bluestacks. An android emulator that allowed you to legally buy android apps...the works. It was a pain to use on my end to tell the truth, but now you can see this in proper glorious HD....sort of since people are saying 720p isn't HD anymore but whatevs...

19:22 - Hidden Special Stage

22:06 - Trying to buy Sonic 4 : Episode 1 via the shield store only to be greeted by a rather odd message.

22:27 - Nvidia Grid, first and only game we'll try in this video with it is Super Street Fighter 4, because I needed something I could mash random buttons in for an arbitrary reason I have yet to think of.

24:38 - L-L-L-L-L-L-L
