Nvidia will be unveiling their Volta architecture in just a few weeks according to fudzilla with a possible release date of Q3 2017. Volta is the successor to pascal, and is said to be fully loaded with HBm2 memory and naturally will compete with Vega. Volta (known as GV) will be an interesting prospect if released this year, given the shear number of GPUs nvidia have released the past several months.
