NYXI have plenty of Joy-Con alternatives available for the Nintendo Switch but their latest model, which have taken the internet by storm, are the NYXI Wizard. Well, wait no more because NYXI sent us over a pair to check out.
The NYXI Wizard are Nintendo Switch Joy-Con alternatives styled after the Nintendo GameCube controller. They can be used independently, as Joy-Cons attached to the Switch or even wirelessly as a controller that looks very similar to the original GameCube WaveBird controller!
They're feature packed too! They have rumble, gyro, turbo, macros, assignable back paddles and hall effect sensing joysticks that can't drift, ever!
The original Joy-Cons for the Nintendo Switch aren't the most comfortable and if you're playing your Switch in handheld mode for extended periods of time they can cause cramping and discomfort. That's where products like the NYXI Wizard Joy-Con alternatives come in, these are much larger with better ergonomics, which make handheld play much nicer.
Bear in mind this is my first impressions video, after some weeks of extensive testing I will make a full review testing deadzone etc.
