A spiritual successor to ActRaiser, SolSeraph combines 2.5D action platforming stages with tower defense simulations. SolSeraph’s mixture of genres challenge the player to master varying techniques. The simulation focuses on quick menuing, resource management, and new strategies for optimal layout. The action stages require critical platforming and mild boss RNG. The game automatically saves and you have infinite lives, so it is rare that a death would cause more than 1 minute time loss.

Any%: There are no big skips or glitches; just a few magic upgrades get skipped. Cutscenes and text that would elucidate the story are skipped over throughout the entirety of the game, because this is a speedrun and no one has time for a storyline.
